As you can see some new things have shown up both on the alliance network list and in the Alliance program. First and foremost, We now have a mini blog and rss feed. I will be making regular posts about news, alliance updates, feature news, Network list updates...and more so stick around and subscribe to our RSS feed.
Recently Version 1.0.4 build 671 of Alliance was releaced. Here is the change log:
1) Support for using Alliance over a LAN - Look for "LAN support" under options. This disables the port check and uses your internal IP number.
2) If the settings file is corrupt the backup version of the settings are automatically loaded.
3) A user friendly message is shown when a user tries to run Alliance on a Mac from a mounted image.
4) Added a command in chat windows: "/clear". Clears the entire chat.
5) Fixed bug: chat test field no longer loses focus when sending message.
6) Fixed: Automatic upgrade dialog is shown maaaany times.
7) Fixed Several crashes.
Looks like another update will be on the way soon to address some new bugs that popped up after this update. Not sure when it will be out though.
In other news the Alliance track was also reopened to the public. You can post bugs and feature suggestions on the tracker now and the programmers will look it over ASAP. Link: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=166584
